Hi , my name is Dana Dewedoff-Carney

Real Estate + Lifestyle Photographer + Advocate

I'm a multi-talented individual who thrives on wearing many hats in life. With a diverse range of career interests, I've explored various professional paths, each contributing to my unique skill set. Whether it's diving into creative projects and photography, tackling negotiation challenges, or engaging in community service, I relish the opportunity to learn and grow in different domains. What truly fuels my spirit is the joy of helping others.

Real Estate

I obtained my initial Real Estate agent license in 2015. By 2020, I expanded my portfolio, and in 2023, qualified for my Brokers-Salesperson license after having completed further education, experience and state testing.

Previously, I served on the Zoning Board, Planning Board, and Appearance Committee in townships like Cinnaminson and Moorestown.

Over A Decade of Experience

With nearly 12 years dedicated in my craft, I have honed skills to a perfection. Photography isn't just a profession; it's a passionate obsession. People who've worked with me often describe me as creative, high-energy, patient, empathetic, and exceptionally helpful. Many even find my photography sessions therapeutic, confidence-boosting, and, most importantly, fun. I sees things differently and that is, in large part, why so many people seek me out for their creative portraits and events.

An Empathetic Approach

Central to my approach is an authentic and empathetic connection to each client's individual narrative and circumstances. I prioritize understanding your needs and concerns, with a strong focus on your well-being and open communication. With me, you're not just a number; it's about forging genuine connections and offering unwavering support on your unique story. Whether you're parting with a home that holds cherished memories with your children, reconnecting with the house from your childhood, or embarking on a new chapter in a new home, I understand the profound emotional impact. Reflecting on childhood memories and or navigating a fresh start in a new town are intricate processes.

Let's have a conversation about your feelings, as I'm here to assist every step of the way.

Branding Focused

I excel as a branding photography specialist. Regardless of your profession or the unique talents you wish to highlight, I possess the expertise to capture you in a manner that promotes your individuality and sets you apart in advertising in store or online. I provide a comprehensive array of services, encompassing corporate headshots, content creation, lifestyle product photography, team portraits, advertising design, brand awareness campaigns, political endeavors, and more. If you seek to enhance your brand's image, my creative nature bolstered by years of experience, background, and network with the right people, can bring your vision to life.

Neurodiversity

My expertise shines in work with both children and adults who have diverse needs, including developmental disorders, ADD/ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, and Sensory Processing Disorder. I continue to complete continuing education in therapeutic counseling and specialty in this area. I have cultivated a distinctive skill set. My patience and understanding make me the ideal photographer for individuals with unique needs and differences. I know how to “get into an individual's world” in order to create relatability, trust, and progress in order to yield the result the client is looking for—art.

Mental Health

Many of my side endeavors center on promoting mental health awareness. Among my most renowned projects was "Project Benjamin," which highlighted taboo concerns related to pregnancy and infant loss. This project received recognition in print publications, featured in 14 online publications, and showcased on local news. My favorite saying, "Struggle Does Not Always Have A Look," inspired me to transform it into lyrics and eventually led to a production collaboration sung by Ryan Whyte Maloney from American Idol. The song is available on all streaming devices. The mission is to raise awareness about the various stigmas affecting individuals of all ages, with the goal of altering societal perspectives. I firmly believe that change occurs when I disrupt and shakes things up.

Cookies

I have operated seasonal Pop-Up Cookie Shops throughout the year since 2017 under the name "Dewedoff-Carney's Cookies." These pop-up shops have gained widespread attention, receiving coverage on local news and accolades on radio. Most remember me as "The Cookie Girl." It doesn't matter whether I am out showing a house or photographing a family down the shore, I usually run in to someone who has tried my cookies! They've become a personal favorite for just about anyone who's had the pleasure of tasting my creations. Before the original Pop-Up Cookie Shops, my signature cookie recipe has been a cherished favorite since I was 14 years old, making it two decades old. Moreover, many of the pop-up events carry a charitable purpose, with donating proceeds and cookies to the Alzheimer's Association Delaware Valley Chapter and other organizations for well over a decade.

A life filled with family

I wear the hats of both a wife and a mother to five wonderful children. Raising my family from a young age has given me the chance to pursue my skills across various areas simultaneously. This unconventional route has not only shaped my personal growth but has also allowed me to connect with others in ways that go beyond the ordinary, thanks to my unique life story. I've grown alongside my children, and they, in turn, have learned from me, whether it was through volunteering, assisting with showing houses and negotiations, or participating in photography sessions. It has been a joyful experience to bring them along in my journey of helping others.
