In a world where self-presentation is the standard, using images and videos to promote ourselves and our brands, I understand firsthand as a photographer that there's often more beneath the surface, hidden behind a smile. I can often sense it. It's crucial to remember that sometimes, the most dangerous smile is the one hiding how they feel underneath. This person may be in the most need but is often overlooked because they appear to be happy. Much of my work involves projects, blogs, or consulting on others' projects with a particular focus on mental health, aiming to dismantle stigmas and raise awareness about issues that often go amiss or are too taboo to discuss.
